Virginia was born October 31, 1957, in Pine Bluff, Arkansas to the late Mr. Arnold Wilkins, Sr., and the late Mrs. Savannah Turner Wilkins. She departed her life on these earthly shores on February 14, 2026, at 3:00 A.M.
Virginia confessed her faith in Christ at an early age. She was baptized under fellowship at Morris Chapel Missionary Baptist Church in Sherrill, Arkansas. She was employed at the Admiral Benbow Inn and the Huddle House, as a Head Cook at both establishments until her health failed.
She graduated from school in the Pine Bluff School District.
She is preceded in death by her husband Ricky Brunson, her father Mr. Arnold Wilkins, Sr., her mother Mrs. SavannahTurner, her sister Albertine Wilkins, her grandmother Mrs. Georgia Nathaniel, her niece Ishia Nugin, her aunt Lenora Allen, and her uncle Clarnece Kimble, Sr., and Melvin Eskridge.
She leaves to cherish her precious memory to her sister Erislee Wilkins of Pine Bluff, Arkansas, her brother Arnold Wilkins, Jr. (Linda) of Chicago, Illinois, four aunts Freddie Taylor and Susie Terry of Pine Bluff, Arkansas, Betty Kimble of Sherrill, Arkansas, Murilee Johnson of Chicago, Illinois, her uncles Robert Kimble (Ruby) of California, and
Reynolds Eskridge (Sarah) of Chicago, Illinois, her nieces, Nikkia Clark, and LaSundra Williams, and LaTonia Wilkins of Pine Bluff, Arkansas, and Jasmine Wilkins-Patton of Chicago, Illinois, her nephews, Gregory Lewis II of Pine Bluff, Arkansas, and Arnold Wilkins, Ill of Chicago, Illinois, and a host of great nieces, great nephews, cousins, and her friends whom adored her.
