Verdia Mae Williams

It is with profound sorrow that the Williams/ Carpenter and Sledge Families announce the earthly departure of our strong fighter Verdia Mae Williams affectionally called “Little Sister/ Baby Sister”. 

Verdia Mae, fought her way home to be with the Lord on Tuesday morning, December 6, 2022, after she WON her fight with cancer!! 

Her celebration of life will begin on Friday December 9, 2022 with public visitation from 6:30PM-8:00PM at New Community Church (321 N. Birch Street- Pine Bluff,Arkansas) 

Her life celebration will commence on Saturday December 10, 2022 at 2:00PM at her home church: New Salem MBC in Sherrill, Arkansas

Verdia’s earthly tent and final care has been entrusted to cousin Timothy Wallace and the staff of Christian Way Funeral Home, with the assistance of her good friend Mr. Roy D. Hearn and the staff of Perry Funeral Home, Inc.
