A Time to be Born
Sister Vaccarlo Cartez Thomas Allen was the daughter of Pastor Clark Thomas and Sis Hazel Thomas. She received her call to heaven on November 15, 2020. She confessed hope in Christ at the age of 4 under the leadership of Rev. Eddie Johnson. She later united with New Salem Missionary Baptist Church when her father became pastor in 1979.
A Time to be of Christian Service
While attending New Salem, she was a faithful member at NSMBC. She loved to sing praises to God. Her voice was anointed like none other. She sang in the choir, served as a youth leader, planned many Christmas and church trips, helped with the kitchen committee, supported every ministry, and was Co-Choir director. She lead the initiation of the K&K Woods Youth Conference and Scholarship program. For several years, she organized and kept the memories of two girls she loved dearly flowing throughout the church and community. Amongst her many two girls, she loved dearly flowing throughout the church and community. Amongst her many callings, she was ordained as a Deaconess along with her husband as a Deacon at New Salem.
A Time to Learn
Carla was a very determined, intelligent, motivated woman of God. She graduated from Wabbaseka High School with high honors. Vaccarlo was very intelligent. She had her own private side job of writing term papers. She had a gift with words. Later in life, she went to finish her Bachelor's Degree in General Studies at the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff. She didn't stop there. In 2015, she completed her Master's Degree in Human Resource Management. Carla writes a paper-like none other. She made her husband, children, parents, and family very proud.
A Time to Work
Carla worked several jobs throughout her life. Her clerical, business sense, organizational skills, creative mindset paved a productive path for her that lead to a position working at Blue Cross Blue Shields until she departed. She loved her job and coworkers.
A Time to Love
God set her apart for the man she loved so very dearly. On February 11, 2002, she married the love of her life, Rodney Allen. They enjoyed playing softball and traveling with their church and family together. They shared four children; Kelsey Thomas, Freddie Culclager III. Kieona Culclager, and Brianna Allen.
Vaccarlo loved her children beyond what words could explain. She dedicated her life to loving, teaching, supporting, encouraging, helping, working, and being the mother that each of them needed. She instilled the Word of God in them. She taught them to always lean to God and trust in him. She was very proud of each of them. Vaccarlo wanted the world to know how much she loved and appreciated her parents, children, and family every chance she got.
A Time to Remember and Reflect
Vaccarlo Allen leaves to mourn her memory her husband, Rodney Allen, father, Pastor Clark Thomas, mother, Hazel Thomas, four children; Kelsey Thomas, Freddie Culclager lll. Kieona Culclager, and Brianna Allen, two brothers; Patrick (Tondra) Thomas, Ivan (April) Thomas, one sister; Lolita (James) Hayes, five grandchildren; Madison Culclager, Clarke Culclager, Hosia Thomas III, Kye Thomas, Cash Culclager, and host of God-children. cousins. aunts, uncles, and friends that she loved to the moon and beyond.
