Sterling Armour was born March 18, 1951 in Sherrill, Arkansas to the late E. B.
Armour and Hallie B. Armour. He went to be with the Lord on June 19, 2023 surrounded by family. He loved being the center of attention. Sterling was known as "Duck" to many.
Sterling was a member of Corinth Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Reverend Ulysses Dunlap. He served in the United States Army for twenty plus years. He worked a short time for Planters Cotton Oil Mill with his late brother, Freddie Armour.
Sterling Armour was a family man, a loving husband to the late Annetta Armour who preceded him in death. He is also preceded in death by three brothers- Eugene Greer, Freddie Armour, and Columbus Scott, Jr.; and one sister-Earnestine Armour.
He leaves to cherish his memories three sons-Sterling Armour, Jr., Anthony Armour, and Christopher Armour; one daughter -Cassandra Armour; and a stepson-Marcus Miller. He is also survived by sixteen grandchildren, nine great grandchildren; two brothers-E. B. (Selena) Armour, Jr. and Alvin Armour, Sr.; one sister- Irene Scott; one sister-in-law-Patricia Armour; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. He will be truly missed by his best friend - Jeff Turner.
