Mrs. Shenola Allison was born on May 26, 1948, in English, Arkansas, to the esteemed union of Mr. Willie Williams and Mrs. Flossie Mae Williams. Mrs. Allison embraced Christianity as her Savior early in life, subsequently undergoing baptism and becoming a member of God’s family.
Shenola Allison entered into matrimony with Michael Ray Allison on March 18, 1972, in Las Vegas, Nevada. This union was blessed with four children: Frank Williams Hansberry (Karen), Michael Allison II (Natalie), Tina Allison-Bobino (DeMarko), and Raashun Allison (Ashley).
She dedicated 23 years of service to her community as a mail carrier for the United States Post Office in Los Angeles until her retirement.
Her spiritual journey included membership at Eudora Missionary Baptist Church under Pastor Roy Thomas in 1995, New Morning Star Baptist Church in 2022, and Union Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Willie Laws since 2024 in Altheimer, Arkansas.
Shenola grew up in English, Arkansas, and helped with the animals on their family farm. After retiring from the U.S. Postal Service, she and Michael moved to Altheimer, AR. She loved gardening, picking peas and pecans, and working with Mayor Zola Hutson in the community. She really cared about everyone in Altheimer.
Shenola went to be with the Lord on January 28, 2026. She was preceded in death by her father Willie Williams, mother Flossie Mae Williams, brothers Willie, Louis, Robert, Elder Thelmon, Jimmy, Johnny, and Charlie. Sisters Ruby, Jerelene, and Dorphene, son Michael Allison Jr., and granddaughter Jazmine.
Shenola leaves to cherish her beautiful memories to her husband Michael, sons Frank and Raashun, and beloved daughter Tina. Grandchildren: DePaul, Jade, DeMarko II, Micah, Xaire, and Devin. Her siblings, Kelly Mack, Pearline, Vangaline (Su), Sarah, Herman Myrtle (Jackie) and a host of nieces and nephews, close family members and friends.
