Sandra R. Smith Gaynor was born September 13, 1957, in Pine Bluff, AR to Daisy M. Boler Smith and the late Tommie L. Smith. Sandra was the third child of seven children born to Daisy M. Smith and the first child of four children born to Daisy & the late Tommie L. Smith. Affectionately known as "San", she grew up on the Eastside of Pine Bluff where she developed lifelong friendships and served as a guiding light.
Sandra is a 1975 graduate of Pine Bluff High School. She enjoyed cheering for those Mighty Zebras, UAPB Golden Lions, and Dallas Cowboys.
On August 4, 1986, Sandra confessed her hope in Christ and became filled with the Holy Spirit. She was very active in church, accepting the call of Prophetess and Teacher, and later began "There is Hope Ministry." Her love for Christ was simply contagious and her spirit. Prophetess Gaynor enjoyed worshiping and praising the Lord and served as a witness for Christ to all those she encountered. She loved to fellowship with family, friends, church members, and the community as a whole. Sandra was a member of Greater Deliverance Global Ministry serving as an Associate Pastor and remaining faithful until her transition.
Sandra was employed by Stant US Corporation for over 25 years, until her unlawful released in January 2021. Despite the circumstances, Sandra continued to give God the praises during the difficult storms and health crisis. She knew to stand on His promises and believe that God was going to do great work within her.
Sandra was united in marriage to Michael Gaynor on December 20, 1986. They were together for over 35 years. Michael was faithful to Sandra throughout her health battles and remained by her side to the very end. Together, Sandra and Michael were parents to three children and served as surrogate parents and grandparents to countless others.
Sandra accepted the call and entered Heaven's shore on Monday, March 8, 2021@ 11:40 a.m. Preceding her in death was her father Tommie, her grandparents: Bertha & Eddie Jones, aunts: Eddie Mae Scott, Bonnie Haley, Lorayne Jones, and uncle Michael Jones.
She leaves to cherish her loving memory, her very SUPPORTIVE husband, Michael Gaynor; her daughter Keike Beavers of Pine Bluff; two sons-Derrick Smith and Archie Beavers, Jr. of Pine Bluff, AR; her mother-Daisy M. Smith, of Pine Bluff; her sisters: Apostle Shirley Sanders, Linda Lowe, Sherry Lowe, Debbie Cotton, and Tina Smith, of Pine Bluff, AR; one brother-Dennis Smith, of Pine Bluff; godsister: Erma Jean Billings; ten grandchildren: Alexis Smith, of Dallas, TX; Khyree Smith, Keshone Smith, Te'ona Beavers, Keayrias Beavers, JamareA Wainwright, KamareA Wainwright, Ahmaezin Campbell, Zariah Beavers, and Tre'von Beavers all of Pine Bluff, AR; six great-grandchildren; an aunt Essie Campbell and uncle Sylvester Boler of Pine Bluff, AR. A host of lovely nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, extended family, and friends. Special Friends: Benita Campbell-Pridgeon, Beverly Murray, and goddaughter Danneisha Murphy.
