Rickey Williams, of Sherwood, Arkansas, entered eternal rest on Monday, March 29th, 2021, surrounded by his loving family members.
Rickey was born in Sherrill, Arkansas on June 13th, 1957 to Rozena Williams. He was the 13th of 16 children, born to Rozena Williams.
Rickey was known to many family members as "Headquarters" because if anything needed to be done in a timely or organized manner, he was the one to go to. He loved life. He was passionate about fishing, especially with his brothers. Everyone that knew him knows what he loved: family, retirement, traveling, skiing, baseball caps, cowboy boots, Mercedes cars, and the Denver Broncos football team.
Rickey was baptized at the age of 38 at the New Revival Baptist Church in Columbus, Georgia, under the leadership of Reverend James Herring Jr. He was a past member of several churches in Little Rock and North Little Rock.
Rickey was united in marriage to Deborah Williams on January 4, 2019. They were married for the second time, and he often said, "It's better the second time around!" Deborah was faithful to Rickey throughout his health battles and remained by his side until the very end.
Rickey Williams graduated from Pine Bluff High School. He was a proud member of the Class of 1975. Immediately after graduation, he entered the U.S. Army, following in his older brother's military footsteps. While in the military, he traveled to various parts of the world where he never met a stranger. He loved retirement.
He leaves to cherish his memories, his mother, Rozena Williams; his lovely wife Deborah; his children, Tasha Williams of Little Rock, AR, Chemeka (Kevin) Robinson of Kansas City, KS, Stephanie (Da'Shawn) Rollins of Lithonia, GA, and Keryn Williams of Ft. Mitchell, AL; his bonus children, Ricardo (Sherry) Williams of Kansas City, KS, Veronica Jacobs of Kansas City, KS, and LaTasha Jacobs of Kansas City, KS; his seven grandchildren, Jalan, Jayshon, Janiiya, Chelsia, Lee, Da'Shawn Jr., and Dominic; his maternal siblings, Bobby, Sammy (Cheryl), Chancie, Teddy, LC, Irene, Carroll (Jackie), and Brenda; his paternal siblings, Cassandra (Darryl), Tracie, Rita, Jacqulyn, Stacey, Frederick, Douglas, Fay, Jimmy, Deborah, and Sharon. He also leaves a special niece, Jacqueline, and a host of other loving family members.
