Randy Walker was born June 29, 1961, in Pine Bluff, Arkansas to the late Johnny Petty and the late Eloise Howard Bates.
He attended Grady School District, graduating with the Class of 1980. He confessed a hope in Christ at an early age at Damascus Baptist Church, where he joined the Usher Board. On January 15, 2020, he became President of the Usher Board. In 201 7 Randy was employed by Taylor Gin, Inc.
Randy departed life on January 29, 2021. He was preceded in death by a daughterMiriada Walker; sister-Rena Jo Howard; and his mother and father.
He leaves to cherish his memory his daughter-Shakema Franklin of Staten Island, New York; brother-Reverend Gregory Walker and Keith (Annette) Walker all of Pine Bluff, Arkansas, Robert Lee Walker, Jr. of Grady, Arkansas, Charles (Donna) Petty of Ogden, Utah, Debra Petty Anderson of Merced, California, Margaret Howard of Little Rock, Arkansas, Katherine Walker of Grady, Arkansas; special friendStephanie Boswell; one grandchild-Devonte Franklin; and a host of aunts, uncles. nieces, nephews, and friends.
