Nathaniel Scott, Jr. was born in Little Rock, Arkansas to Lillie Mae Dodson-Scott and Nathaniel Scott, Sr. on February 10, 1965. Nathaniel accepted Jesus Christ into his life as his Lord and savior at an early age. He attended Lonoke High School and was a huge Dallas Cowboys fan. Nathaniel worked at Tyson and he also did construction work and his hobbies were being with his family, some called him "Scott-County" but we all called him "Cheetah". Cheetah was always the LIFE of the party and kept everyone laughing, especially the kids. He loved all of the kids and would do anything for any of them.
While residing in Pine Bluff, Ar he met the love of his life Joyce Scott in 2003 and married her in 2005. Joyce had 4 children; Pam, Monique, Garry & Audreyanna. Cheetah admired all of them and was honored to be in their lives, he never treated them anything less than his own. He was there for everything dealing with them and also they're children who called him "PawPaw" (and he was a VERY PROUD PAWPAW)! They shared 21 years together! 21 years of laughter, love and most of all TIME; being together everyday, doing literally everything together and being able to enjoy each others presence. In their spare time they loved to talk with each other, look at movies and attend New Direction Church almost every Sunday. People will always say, "Joyce you do everything for Cheetah" but little did they know Cheetah did everything for Joyce too. He was there for me through everything for 21 years and the time, the time we spent will truly be missed the most. Their marriage was really in sickness and in health.
Nathaniel was preceded in death by both his parents; Lillie Mae Dodson-Scott and Nathaniel Scott Sr., a sister; Patricia Jones., his grandparents; Lillie Bell Dodson and Wil-lington Dodson. Nathaniel leaves behind to carry on his legacy and memories; his wife Joyce Marie Scott.. His three step-daughters; Pamela Brown, Monique Alexis (Jeremiah) of Jacksonville, Florida and Audreyana Brown. One step-son; Garry Jones Jr. of Little Rock, Ar. Six grandchildren; Jada Brown, Amya Liggins, Amarian Liggins, Javion Ross, Amariah Alexis and Jeremiah Alexis. His siblings; Kenneth Ray Scott (Ellisa), Tommy Scott(Andrea, StephaniePennister(Earnest), and Lashay Scott. He will also leave behind a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who will love and cherish all of his memories forever.
We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body and to be present with the Lord." - Il Corinthians 5 : 8
