When the heavenly Father calls a soul to rest, we must be ready to answer the call. Such was the circumstance on Tuesday, January 2, 2024, after a courageous battle, our father, loving husband, awesome grandfather, loyal brother, friend, and uncle took his sweet rest. Nathaniel Larry Miles was born January 10, 1954 in Grady, Arkansas to the late Edna and Billy Miles.
Nathaniel was affectionately called "Bimbo" by most of his family, friends, and loved ones. Nathaniel confessed his life to Christ at an early age. His life passion was taking care of his family, having fun, playing dominoes, UNO, and he was the "King" of spades and chess. Bimbo loved being around family and friends. He never met a stranger. Bimbo graduated from Grady High School in 1972. He was one of the top players on the Grady Wolverines Basketball team.
God called Nathaniel to rest Tuesday, January 2, 2024. He is preceded in death by his father—Billy Miles; mother—Edna Jones Miles; one brother— Willie Miles; and two sisters-Lovie Lee Brown and Lola Borkins.
