Mother Hawkins has laid down the burdens of this world and received her heavenly reward. Having fought the good fight, finished her race, and kept the faith, she now rests from her labor and rejoices in the presence of her Lord and Savior. Her long and remarkable life was a testament to God's sustaining grace, faithfulness, and mercy.

For nearly 108 years, Mother Hawkins touched and inspired generations of family, friends, and loved ones. Through every season of life, she exemplified perseverance, dignity, compassion, and unwavering faith. Her life stands as a living testimony to God's goodness and faithfulness from generation to generation. To have lived for more than a century is a rare blessing; to leave behind a legacy of faith, strength, wisdom, and love is an even greater one.

While our hearts are saddened by this earthly separation, we do not mourn as those who have no hope. Rather, we find comfort in God's promise and rejoice in the assurance that one day we shall meet again in that house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.

Mother Hawkins' earthly vessel has been entrusted to the compassionate care of Mr. Roy Hearn and the dedicated staff of Perry Funeral Home, Inc. Funeral arrangements and a Celebration of Life honoring her nearly 108 years of blessed living will be announced as they are finalized.
