Mark Anthony Banks

Mark Banks, 64 of San Antonio, TX, passed away December 16 2021 at Baylor Scott and White Hospital in Temple, TX. Mark was born in Crawfordsville, Arkansas August 27, 1957, to the late Norman L. Banks, Jr, and Mildred L Sloan Banks.

Mark served 5 years in the Army National Guard. His love for God opened doors at Progressive and Oak Grove Baptist Church where he established a foundation in Christ. His faith in Christ has always remained strong. His love for helping others, farming, cooking, and making the "Renown Grula Juice" was infectious! He never met a stranger and always supported where he could. 

Preceding his death is his brother: Norman L. Banks, lll, his dad: Norman L Banks, Jr, and his brother Carl E. Banks.

Surviving Family: Mother: Mildred Banks; Brothers: Morris Banks (Janice), Isadore Banks, Perry Banks, Tommy Banks, Darryl Banks, Tyrone Banks, and Peter Banks; One Sister: Vickie (Paul).

Mark had no biological children but his arms and love embraced his nieces, nephews, cousins, uncles, and aunts. Keith Zephyr brother and confidant and friends near and far.
