LaKeisha Shana Kearney was born November 26, 1992 in Pine Bluff, Arkansas to Tonya Whitmore Reams and Yul Bernard Kearney, Sr.
LaKeisha confessed her faith in Christ on April 22, 2018, under the leadership of Reverend George Wallace, where she was a member of Rose Hill Missionary Baptist Church, Pine Bluff, Arkansas. LaKeisha made her earthly transition October 16, 2023 at Jefferson Regional Medical Center surrounded by her loved ones.
LaKeisha attended schools at St. Matthew Lutheran, Saint Louis, Missouri, Dollarway School District, Pine Bluff, Arkansas, and Lakeside High School, graduating member of the Class of 2013, Hot Springs, Arkansas
On October 17, 2019, LeKeisha gave birth to her only daughter-Blessin Simone Kearney, who brought joy and happiness to LaKeisha's life. This is why she chose to name her "Blessin" , and Blessin was a blessing to her!
To her family LaKeisha was affectionately known as "Granny". We shall always cherish the sweet spirit and smile that LaKeisha possessed. She enjoyed spending time with her family, playing cards, listening to music, and spending time with her daughter who was the joy of her life.
LaKeisha is preceded in death by her sister —Simone Kearney; brother-Ronrico Henderson; grandparents —Jesse Armstrong and Willie Kearney, Sr.; uncle-Shaun Williams; and aunt-Kim Whitmore Robinson.
She leaves to cherish her memories her daughter— Blessin Simone Kearney of Pine Bluff; her parents-Tonya (Willie) Reams and Yul Bernard Kearney, Sr. (LaShuna) of Pine Bluff; sisters —KeShanna Kearney, Bre'naria Kearney, Y'isha Kearney, Ira' Nesha Kearney, Jasmine Kearney McBride (Carl) all of Pine Bluff, AR, Allysa Reams, Tyresha Reams of Little Rock, AR; brothers- Yul Kearney, Jr. (Shunte Erma) of Mesquite, TX, Willie Reams, Jr. of Little Rock, AR, and Dante Nicholson of Pine Bluff, AR; grandparents -Blanchie Laws of Altheimer, AR, Airlene Kearney of Pine Bluff, AR; special cousins —Dorothy Fay Whitmore, Shamicka Whitmore McGown of Pine Bluff, AR; and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, and other relatives whom she loved dearly.
