Kim Robinson Obituary

THIS IS HER STORY

“I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.” 2 Timothy 4:7-8

Kim Yolanda Whitmore Robinson was born June 15, 1974, in Little Rock, Arkansas, to Blanchie Whitmore and the late Jessie Armstrong.  This would begin her journey in life that would fulfill her purpose.

Kim accepted Christ at an early age at Mt. Bayou Missionary Baptist Church, Altheimer, Arkansas under the leadership of Rev. R.H. Atkinson. She continued to hold onto her Faith in God as her strength and peace. On Wednesday, November 23, 2022, surrounded by loved ones, Kim peacefully made her earthly transition to be in the presence of the Lord forever.  She has gained a new heart that God has promised her for eternity.

Kim attended the Altheimer-Sherrill High School and was a graduating member of the Class of 1992.

We shall always cherish the sweet spirit and smile that Kim possessed.  Kim brought joy and a sense of peace when in her presence.  She always had a love of providing for her children and setting a higher standard of life principles for them.

To her family, she was “Fe-Fe”.  Her love for her family was wonderful.  She was always cheerfully coordinating the weekly table game of “bangle-bangle” – bingo.  This unity of friends and family brought  so much joy to her life.  We will always cherish those precious times spent together.

Kim was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents – Fred and Alice Pitts-Whitmore, who provided her with a nurturing and loving foundation; paternal grandparents – Joe and Mary Armstrong, father – Jessie Armstrong, brother– Shaun Williams, niece– Simone Kearney along with several loving uncles, aunts, and relatives.

She leaves to cherish her memories, loving mother– Blanchie Whitmore-Laws; Altheimer, AR; husband–Edgar Robinson, Killeen, TX; sons–Tevin Robinson, Pine Bluff, AR; Specialist Devin Robinson, Ft. Bliss, TX; Kevin Robinson, Altheimer, AR; daughter–Pvt.1st Class Kiana Robinson, Ft. Drum, NY; brother–Jason Laws, Altheimer, AR; sisters–Tonya (Willie) Reams, Pine Bluff, AR; Stacey Armstrong, Los Angeles, CA; Terri Armstrong, Los Angeles, CA; special cousin/friend–Sherita Taylor, Little Rock, AR; uncle–Curtis Armstrong, Flint, Michigan, aunts–Clora Miller, St. Louis, MO; JoAnn (James) Smith, St. Louis, MO; Dorothy Whitmore, Altheimer, AR; Carolyn Whitmore, Wentzville, MO; Marie Wells, Inglewood, CA; Althea Kennebrew, Chino Hills, CA; Shirley Armstrong, Inglewood, CA; Brenda (Willie) Warren, Pine Bluff, AR and a host of relatives whom she loved dearly.
