Mr. Kendric Ja'Juan Bearden, 45, of Little Rock, Arkansas and formerly of Pine Bluff, Arkansas, passed away October 14, 2019 at home. He was born November 16, 1973 in Pine Bluff, Arkansas to Ernie Bearden-Hearn and James "Jimmy'' Harvey.
Kendric received his education and graduated from Pine Bluff High School in 1992, where he was on the honor roll throughout his high school years. He was also in the marching band. He attended the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff and later transferred to the University Arkansas of Little Rock. While at U.A.L.R., he was an exchange student and traveled abroad to Paris, France in 1998 for a semester. After returning to the states, Ken did an internship in 1999 at the White House in Washington D.C. under former Senator David Pryor. Kendric graduated from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock in 2000. Ken loved working in political fields, voter registration, and many more. He was a Certified Nursing Assistant for fifteen years. He worked at the State Hospital as well as other medical facilities and nursing homes. Ken won a trophy from an organization called Odyssey of the Mind. He was a member of the Dart Club Association and Trivia Club. He was also in the Arkansas Symphony Band (Pine Bluff). He had passed the entrance exam to enter law school, and he was planning on attending nursing school this fall.
Kendric leaves to cherish his memories his beloved mother-Ernie L. (Roy) Bearden-Hearn of Pine Bluff, Arkansas; father-James "Jimmy" Harvey of Dallas, Texas; one sister-Kimberly Hearn; two nephews-Ke'Auvion Dean and Jay Edwards, Jr. all of Pine Bluff, Arkansas; two special aunts-Shirley (Edward) Bearden-Thomas of Milwaukee, Wisconsin and Dorothy Bearden-Rowland of Pine Bluff, Arkansas; and a host of other aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
