Julia Ann Briggs, also affectionately known as “Sister”, was born January 3, 1959, to the late Willie Harris and Claddy Briggs in Tarry, Arkansas. She was reared by her grandparents. She was the youngest of seven siblings which were Gracie King (Pine Bluff, AR),Willie Hart (deceased), Joann Hart (Pine Bluff, AR), Richard Hart (Pine Bluff, AR), Betty Davis (Pine Bluff, AR), and Joe, Willie Harris (Savannah, GA).
She accepted Christ as her savior at an early age. She attended Glendale High School. She went home to be with the Lord on February 23, 2023. She has preceded in death by her mother Willie Harris; father Claddy Briggs; her son Tyrone Evans and her brother Willie Hart.
Julia leaves to cherish her loving memories of one granddaughter–Brandi Evans of Pine Bluff, Arkansas; three sister–Gracie King, Joanne Hart and Betty Davis all of Pine Bluff, Arkansas; two brothers–Rev. Richard (Dot) Hart of Pine Bluff, Arkansas and Jo Willie (Harriet) Harris of Savannah, Georgia and a host of nieces and nephews.
