Mr. James Williams Jr., aka “June bug”, was born October 17, 1976, in Pine Bluff, Arkansas, to James and Patricia Williams. From a youth he frequently attended First Trinity Church of God in Christ, where he participated in the Sunshine Band. As a youth he loved sports especially football, kickboxing and loved to mow yards. While training in kickboxing, he received the name one hitter. Later as a teenager, he loved to work out lifting weights, bench pressing and doing push up.
He is preceded in death by his beloved brother Minister Kenneth Williams whom he loved so much, grandparents Claudie and Lillie Jones, James Buckley Sr., James Williams Sr. and Ada Bell Carter.
His memories are cherished by his four children, two daughters Shakyra Lever of Pine Bluff, Arkansas, and Z’kuria Williams of Dallas, TX., two sons Iviere Clark of Dallas, TX, and another of Chicago, Illinois, and one grandson Ja’Cavion Lever. His memories continue to be cherished by his loving parents, James and Patricia Williams of Pine Bluff, Arkansas, three sisters, Yolanda Williams-Holmes (Gregory) of Little Rock, Arkansas, Felicia Williams (Danny) of Kansas City, Missouri, Erica Williams of Pine Bluff, Arkansas, one brother Curtis Williams of Pine Bluff, Arkansas, nine nieces, seven nephews and sixteen great nieces and nephews and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins.
