Eugene was a very gifted child. He loved his family and friends; two of whom he was very close with, like brothers- Laney Harris and Nicholas Harris. Eugene would go out of his way to help anyone. His favorite, all-time sport was football. He was very talented and loved to show his skills.

Eugene was baptized at an early age. The last church he belonged to was First Baptist Church of Dewitt, Arkansas under the leadership of Pastor Jim Albrecht. Eugene was never able to work, so he did "odds and ends" jobs for different people at different places.

He was survived by his father: Eugene King, Sr.; grandmothers: Brenda (David) Baker and Geraldine Seastrong both of Pine Bluff, Arkansas; three brothers: Roderick O'Bryant of Elaine, Arkansas, Reginald Shaw of Rogers, Arkansas, and Antonio Shaw of Pine Bluff, Arkansas; three sisters: Rondrai O'Bryant and Danielle Shaw both of Pine Bluff, Arkansas, and Deonna (Joseph) Key of Stuttgart, Arkansas; eight aunts: LaTrina (Calvin) Martin of Hampton, Virginia, LaKeisha Ezell, Tennetta (Johnny) Craig, Mary Kirby, Queshaun Brantley, and Judith (Rodney) Plummer all of Pine Bluff, Arkansas, Vanessa Williams of Houston, Texas, and LaQuetta Nelson of Clarksville, Tennessee; four uncles: Anthony (Dora) Blunt, Robert King, Laron King, and Dorcell Price all of Pine Bluff, Arkansas. He was very fond of his four nieces and nephew whom he loved whole-heartedly: London Coleman, Xavier Moore, Kaylee O'Bryant, Alanna O'Bryant, and Zoey Londermilk. He had a special cousin whom he called his child: A.J. Jackson, affectionately known as "Son". He is also survived by a host of great aunts, great uncles, cousins, and friends.
