Ermalene "Erma" Lampkin

Ermalene “Erma” Lampkin, was granted her wings on May 17, 2022. She was born February 23, 1941 to the late C.L. Washington and Elnora Davis-Price in Winchester, Arkansas. Her final days were spent surrounded by family and friends that she touched throughout her life.

She loved fishing, gardening, family gatherings and her dog BJ. Nobody could separate Erma from BJ. She was an active and faithful member of the Barnett Chapel Missionary Baptist Church until her health failed.She served at the church as a member of the Usher Board.

Erma was preceded in death by her husband Joseph Lampkin; a son —Melvin Lampkin; a daughter — Helen Lampkin; grandson — Carl Lampkin Jr; a sister — Lillie B. Price; four brothers — Joshua Price, Floyd Price, Lloyd Price and Herman Price.

She leaves to cherish her loving memories two daughters- Diane Lampkin and Vernell Buckley of Pine Bluff, Arkansas; One daughter-in-law Bobby Haywood of Star City, Arkansas; four sons Joseph (Dorothy) Lampkin, Alphonso (Mary) Lampkin, and Glenn Lampkin all of Pine Bluff, Arkansas; Carl (Glenda) Lampkin of Cypress, Texas; four sisters Irene (Jimmy Lee) Walters, Janie (Bobby) Scott, Gearldine Briggs, and Shirley (Christopher) Warrior and a host grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
