David C. Suggs, Sr.

David C. Suggs Sr. was born June 17, 1938 in Wilmot, Arkansas. He was the son of the late Elder Cornelius Suggs, Sr. and the late Dora Suggs. He departed this life to be with our Lord and Savior on Sunday July 28, 2024, at Jefferson Regional Medical Center, Pine Bluff, Arkansas.

He confessed hope in Christ at a very young age. He served in various capacities of the church during in life. He was a well-known entrepreneur and business man in the Pine 'Bluff, Community for over 30 years until he retired.

He was a devoted husband of sixty-six years to Earnestine Suggs. He is preceded in death three sisters, Evelyn Crawford, Rachel Obein, Brenda Faye Lynch; and one brother Cornelous Suggs, Jr..

He leaves to cherish his memories his wife Earnestine Suggs; his three sons: David (Joyce) Suggs, Mark (LaVerne) Suggs, Marvin (Wanda) Suggs; one daughter: Bernetta Kindall all of Pine Bluff, Arkansas; also one sister Betty Jefferson of Detroit, Michigan. He leaves a legacy of ten grandchildren, sixteen great grand children, one great great grandchild, and a host of family members, friends and church community.
