Corine Thompson Davis

Corine Thompson Davis was born August 24, 1949, to the late Moses and Martha Mae Thompson. She attended J.S. Walker School in Wabbaseka, Arkansas. She departed this life on Saturday, August 13, 2022 in Pine Bluff, Arkansas.

Corine was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents—James E. and Mary Eliza Kelly; a daughter—Essie Mae Goodwin; five brothers— Otha Lee James Thompson, Aaron Jimmie Thompson, Herbert Lee Thompson, Herman Thompson and Robert Lee Thompson; sister—Miles Thompson White.  

She leaves to cherish her memories: one son—Calvin Copeland III, two sisters—Betty L. Briggs, Patsy Briggs Williams, one brother—Arie Briggs Jr. and god-sister—Ernestine Shelter all of Pine Bluff, Arkansas and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. 

She will be greatly missed by her family friends and the community.
