Cleve Walker Jr. was born on October 18, 1952 in Sunflower, Mississippi to Cleve Walker Sr. & Mary Reynolds-Walker. He graduated in 1970 from North Division High School.
Cleve married Karen Falls on July 16, 1988. They were blessed with one daughter, Cassie (Clifton) Walker-Williams.
Cleve worked as welder at Central Maloney Inc. for many years until retirement. He was an outdoors man who loved doing carpentry work and working on his cars and truck. He was a willing worker and never failed to help those who needed a handyman. There was no problem he wouldn't try to fix. From working at the church to serving the community, Cleve never failed to be there for others, even if he sacrificed himself.
Cleve was a member of New Community Church serving as a deacon and armor bearer for 2lyrs. He served the church faithfully from top to bottom in his service to his Pastor down to the Youth department. He did everything from making sure the children had snacks each Sunday to taking a lead roll in their productions. He always made sure the youth department was well taken care of.
He leaves cherished memories with his wife of 37 years and daughter. His siblings Mary Miles, Kizzie Barnhardt, Charlotte Walker, Barbara Walker, and Silver Lee Jones. He had a host of nieces and nephews that he loved as his own. He was a role model and father figure to many others.
He was preceded in death by his brothers: Bob Walker and John Walker.
His legacy lives on in the lives of all he came in contact with.
