Clara Mae was born to the late Luella Spencer and Clarence Rucker Sr. in Dermott, Arkansas on June 20, 1961. She was preceded in death by her parents, six brothers (Clarence Rucker Jr., Bennie Rucker, Levine Rucker, Jeremiah Rucker, Ernest Rucker and Calvin Rucker) and 1 sister (Gloria Davis).
Clara Mae expected Christ as her Lord and Savior earlier in her life. She was a member of Pleasant View Ministries under the leadership of Pastor William Shaw.
Clara Mae was united in holy matrimony to Samuel Freeman in December 2017.
She leaves to cherish her memories: Her husband Samuel Freeman, two daughters Tina Rucker, Teresa Forrest, and one son Joseph Forrest; four sisters—Harrison Nelson, Frankie Rucker, Willie Mae Buckhanan, and Gloria Blueford; two brothers—Willie Rucker and Larry Rucker; Nine grandchildren—Kavona Green, Markaila Carter, Marquinesha Newman, Jalon Mumphrey, Te’Marion Forrest, Richard Miller III, Alexia Forrest, Alysha Forrest, and Symeir Forrest; and six great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
