A LIFE WELL LIVED
Brenda Ware entered this life on September 16, 1961 to Sunny Mae Carter and Floyd Ware. Growing up, she became a "Daddy's Girl" to Robert Lee Johnson, who took on the role of her father. After an extended illness, Brenda departed from her earthly home to her eternal home on January 23, 2024.
Brenda accepted Christ as her Lord and Saviour at an early age and remained a born-again, God-fearing woman of God. She was a member of the Kindling Star Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Donyardo Wallace, where she remained faithful until her passing.
Brenda was a 1979 graduate of Grady High School. She later attended the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff. Brenda had so many different qualities and talents. She enjoyed helping others. Brenda was the definition of altruistic (showing unselfish concern for the welfare of others). She was a successful business owner and also held different occupations over the years.
Brenda was a loving and devoted daughter, mother, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend.
She is preceded in death by her biological father-Floyd Ware; her maternal grand-parents— Jimmy and Nancy Carter; two nephews-Keith Johnson, Jr. and Dominique Taylor; and a brother—Roy Donnell Lee.
She leaves to cherish her memories her loving parents- Robert and Sunny Mae Johnson of Grady, Arkansas; three children-Marcus Thomas of Victorville, California, Kennesha (Earl) Moore of Grady, Arkansas, and Brandon (Quita Bee) of Flushing, Michigan; a special son-Derric (Antonette) Neal of Benton, Arkansas; a special daughter-Loletha (Charles) Garrett of Belleville, Illinois; thirteen grandchildren—Jay'Leon, Serenity, Brenaesia, Zion, Kenneth, Taylor, Kayla, Brayla, Pharoah, Damaria, Aeriya, Zayion, and (expecting) Ken'Ava; seven brothers-Victor (Cheryl) Johnson of Dumas, Arkansas, Leslie (Angie) Lowe of McGehee, Arkansas, Delbert Carter, John Dale Ware, Michael Carter all of Wichita, Kansas, Keith Johnson of Grady, Arkansas, and Kevin Johnson of Tarry, Arkansas; two special sisters-Shirley (Ketibo) Foster and Rosetta Narrow both of Pine Bluff, Arkansas; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
