Anisha Brown Obituary

Anisha DeShaun Williams was born in Pine Bluff, Arkansas on August 7, 1995, to Apostle Vincent Lee Williams and the late Monica Lorraine White. She was married to Darryl Brown of Pine Bluff, Arkansas.

Anisha received Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior as a youth. She loved Sunday school and singing in the church choir. She was baptized at Eudora Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Roy Thomas. Her sweet personality and mild nature, made it easy for anyone to spoil and love her.

She was nick named “Pinky” and had an amazing childhood. She was extremely close to her grandparents (the late Lawrence and Betty White). Growing up she loved spending summers with her family in Texas. Especially when she attended vacation Bible School (“because they had the best snacks”).

She graduated from Watson Chapel High School in Pine Bluff, Arkansas and planned to have a career as a Crime Scene Investigator. Her laugh was contagious and her smile made everything better. She did not like to see anyone sad and made it a point to sing until others laughed at her “making a joyful noise” or at her impressive dance moves.

Her uniqueness was fierce and her trend setting on point. She was confident at the fact that she was fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14). Growing up she did not get in a lot of trouble. She was a precious jewel that ensured that she told on everyone else before they told on her. She doted on her two nieces, nephew and baby cousins and enjoyed every minute of it.

She was proceeded in death by her beloved mother–Monica Lorraine White; maternal grandfather–Lawrence Edward White Sr.; maternal grandmother–Betty Joe Handy-White and paternal grandfather–Jimmie Leverette.

This Jewel leaves to cherish her memories: Husband, Darryl Brown of Pine Bluff, AR; Stepchildren–Alexis Brown and Darryl Brown Jr.; Father–Apostle Vincent Lee Williams (Funeka) of Atlanta, GA; Grandmother–Lula Leverette of Killeen, TX; Stepfather–Anthony J.
